Attractions in Oman During Summer

Oman is a gem all year round, but its unique summer climate, influenced by the Indian monsoon and the Arabian Sea, sets it apart as an extraordinary travel destination. The southern and highland parts get rain from the Indian monsoon, but most of the area stays hot and dry. As a result, locations like Salalah and Jebel Akhdar experience milder temperatures and an abundance of greenery, including waterfalls, grassy valleys, and abundant tropical vegetation.

To maximise this unique summertime opportunity, Thrillophilia provides carefully planned Oman tour packages that are inclusive of meals, guided tours, transfers, and sightseeing. Moreover, our 24/7 help makes sure your trip goes perfectly, even if you're hiking through Wadi Al Arbaeen or Wadi Shab.

You can start with the capital city of Muscat, to see the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, go snorkelling at Qantab Beach, or shop in the popular Mutrah Souq. Next, you can go to Nizwa to see the 16th-century Nizwa Fort, the souq, where you can buy silver jewellery, and the Sun Mount necropolis. At Jebel Akhdar, you can enjoy cooler air while walking through terraced fruit farms and witnessing pomegranate orchards in traditional Omani towns.

Furthermore, a visit to Salalah lets you witness Wadi Darbat’s waterfalls and the blowholes on Mughsail Beach, and you can enjoy a walk along the coast through coconut fields. You can go to the Musandam Peninsula to take a dhow tour through fjord-like inlets, snorkel in clear water, or drive a 4WD to Jebel Harim. People who love nature can also go to Mirbat to spot rare Arabian leopards that live near Mount Samhan and to witness the Teeq Cave.

Thus, uncover the hidden gems of Oman this summer with Thrillophilia’s Oman tour packages, where each visit offers a peaceful retreat into nature.
